I began my journey of being a dog groomer back in 1999 at a vet clinic in St Marys, Georgia. The vet needed a groomer
and I needed something to call my own. After years of grooming horses and family dogs I decided it was something I was
meant to do. With the good wishes of the vet I began grooming and have not looked back. While I didn't train with
any particular person, I think of many people as my mentors, guides and coaches. Education is never completed.
Tools and methods change all the time and strive to keep up with the best at all times. Through many different
avenues I continue to learn and push myself to be better every day
I am also involved with the dog show world. I own and show Miniature Pinschers and Chinese Cresteds and have
several dogs of my own. I do try to travel to at least one dog show a month. I have one of very annoying
cat, and four children, two still at home.
I'm also very lucky to have a husband who cooks dinner most nights and washes the dishes so I can work harder at building
the grooming business. Without his support ( and good cooking) I would not have gotten this far.
